Sakya Monastery Guesthouse (Sajia Zhen Zhaodaisuo)

Zhaodaisuo translates as "guesthouse," but "flea pit" is a more faithful rendering. Situated on the northeast side of the monastery, dank rooms and a pit toilet with a 360 degree panorama await the adventurous. Staying overnight allows you to visit the monastery in the early morning, when the light is enchanting.
